About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused professional to join our Client Support Services team as an Account Opening Executive. This role plays a key part in delivering exceptional onboarding experiences within a dynamic and evolving operations environment. The Client Support Services team, within the Operations department, combines traditional Middle Office functions with Account Opening, Account Maintenance, and Pension Administration. It offers opportunities for growth, strategic foresight, and professional development in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
* Carry out the end-to-end client onboarding process, ensuring service delivery excellence
* Issue account opening documentation promptly and professionally
* Provide advice and guidance on account opening for various client types
* Review client documentation for regulatory compliance and internal standards
* Assess new accounts to meet CDD, AML, and client suitability criteria
* Attend client meetings with Portfolio Managers as needed
* Coordinate with internal stakeholders on all aspects of account opening
* Update documentation and procedures in response to regulatory or internal changes
* Build and maintain relationships with colleagues, vendors, and clients
* Recognize and escalate SLA breaches appropriately
* Represent the team in internal and external forums
* Respond to change initiatives and escalate issues responsibly
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience with AML & CDD processes preferred
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Willingness to learn new systems
* Strong commitment to customer service
* Minimum 2 years in Financial Services advantageous
* Experience in stockbroking functions is a plus
* Cert in Stockbroking or willingness to obtain
* Professional compliance qualifications desirable
* Degree education preferable
