What You Will Do
Our Technology Solutions Group operates in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with exciting changes ahead under new leadership. You will support and develop scalable applications for our Front Office stakeholders.
As a Lead Analyst in Front Office, you will play a key role in designing and building products that deliver value and viability for our Fixed Income stakeholders. You will be responsible for the product's success from conception to deployment, working closely with cross-functional teams to solve customer problems aligned with business goals. You will partner with various functions to understand requirements and deliver solutions that are valuable, viable, usable, and feasible. Additionally, you will provide Level 3 support for production incidents and ongoing learning opportunities. This position is hybrid, based partly at our Letterkenny, Ireland office and remotely.
What You Can Expect
Taking ownership of product initiatives, collaborating with teams to understand, analyze, refine, design, implement, test, and support solutions in production.
Building fixed income Front Office products, ensuring development follows modern coding practices and industry standards.
Developing high-quality, well-documented business requirements that adhere to company standards.
Communicating effectively with stakeholders and teams to capture requirements and business outcomes.
Working with technical leads on system design and understanding end-to-end system architecture.
Leading backlog refinement, prioritization, and sprint planning to ensure clear acceptance criteria for user stories.
Resolving production incidents and service requests promptly.
Preparing testing plans, developing unit and integration tests, and automating functional testing to ensure high quality.
Using strong SQL skills for data analysis, understanding business logic, and documenting data and application flows.
Proactively raising issues that may impact sprint delivery and managing ambiguous situations effectively.
What You Will Bring
8+ years of experience in a technology role, preferably in BSA/QA or application support.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating technical details for non-technical audiences.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and business judgment skills.
Effective interpersonal, organizational, and decision-making skills, including conflict resolution.
Ability to negotiate and persuade in complex situations.
Resourcefulness in solving diverse business problems and mentoring others.
Data evaluation and mapping skills, with experience in database and API interfaces.
Proficiency in SQL and understanding of APIs.
Knowledge of Front Office Fixed Income Asset Management environments is a plus.
Structured Product knowledge, especially Intex, is a strong advantage.
Team-oriented, collaborative, eager to learn new skills and tools.
Strong research, troubleshooting, and continuous learning mindset.
Excellent documentation skills.
