A Global semiconductor giant based in Cork are seeking to bolster their team with a dynamic Security Firmware Engineer.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement profiling, performance analysis, and debugging tool features for GPU applications.
Collaborate closely with GPU hardware and software teams to validate performance and analyse results.
Debug, optimize, and enhance user experience while supporting developers, partners, and OEMs.
Guide developers on optimizing applications for Snapdragon Adreno GPUs and provide insights into next-generation GPU hardware.
Engage in full-stack development, from user interfaces to low-level graphics instrumentation, supporting the developer ecosystem.
Requirements:
5+ years of professional experience in software or tool development.
Strong programming skills in C/C++, or proficiency with C#, Rust, or Go for application or tools development.
Solid understanding of GPU hardware architecture and graphics programming concepts.
Experience with graphics or GPGPU applications, real-time software, drivers, middleware, or developer tools.
Knowledge of Vulkan, DirectX, Metal, OpenGL, WebGL, CUDA, OpenCL, SYCL, game engines (Unity/Unreal), graphics profiling/debugging tools (Nsight, PIX, GPA, RenderDoc), and familiarity with recent graphics trends, image/video processing, or GPU-based machine learning.
