Job Title: Management Accountant
The role of a management accountant involves providing strategic financial guidance to senior management, ensuring the accurate preparation and presentation of financial information. This senior accounting role will involve managing a portfolio of clients, overseeing month-end and year-end cycles, and liaising with various departments to ensure compliance with regulatory and professional standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed budgets and forecasts, conducting rolling forecasts and scenario analysis, and providing insights for decision-making.
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and present complex financial reports to senior management and external stakeholders.
2. Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
3. Develop and maintain detailed budgets and forecasts for projects and business operations.
4. Conduct rolling forecasts and scenario analysis to anticipate financial risks and opportunities.
5. Liaise with various departments to ensure compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
6. Oversee month-end and year-end cycles, including the preparation and submission of financial statements.
Requirements:
* Qualified accountant with 5+ years' experience.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to use own initiative, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain confidentiality at all times.
* Proficiency in accounting software and a strong knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
