My client is a leading Irish law firm with a global presence, is looking for an ambitious Associate to join their Product Regulatory & Life Sciences team.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a specialist area with some of the worlds most innovative companies.

About the Role As part of the only standalone Products Team in Ireland, you will provide expert advice on EU and Irish regulatory frameworks across the full lifecycle of products, particularly in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices.

The role combines both advisory and contentious work, including complex product liability cases and regulatory enforcement matters.
Key Responsibilities Advise pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers on regulatory aspects of digital health and software medical device portfolios.
Provide EU regulatory guidance for innovative digital health solutions entering the EU market.
Support clients in regulatory investigations and compliance matters across medical devices, food, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals.
Represent clients in enforcement actions, civil claims, and criminal proceedings.
Manage multi-party, high-value product liability litigation in national and international contexts.
Candidate Profile 15 years post-qualification experience in EU and Irish life sciences, product, or healthcare regulatory law.
Exposure to product liability litigation, particularly in life sciences, is highly desirable.
Experience with medical device, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, or food regulatory advisory work is a strong advantage.

Candidates with broader regulatory expertise (competition, data privacy, financial regulation) and an interest in life sciences will also be considered.
