CYBERSECURITY ANALYST (CONTRACT)
Location: Dublin 4
Contract: until April 2026 with view to extension
Work Model: Hybrid
Salary: 60-65K per annum
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Analyst to join our global tech client based in Dublin 4.
* As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our platform and users by driving impactful initiatives that enhance abuse prevention and harm mitigation.
* You will execute tactical components within larger projects, deliver actionable data analyses, and contribute to iterative improvements in systems and processes.
* This role requires strong analytical skills, technical fluency, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to influence decision-making and optimize operations.
* You will join the Mandiant Threat Defense Security Analyst team, which is dedicated to monitoring, detecting, and responding to cyber-attacks for some of the world's leading organizations.
* Our analysts combine security expertise with threat intelligence to deliver actionable recommendations and comprehensive compromise reports, ensuring robust protection for our customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Conduct strategic analysis to identify, evaluate, and recommend ways to optimize business - performance and deliver best-in-class execution.
* Own project documentation, manage timelines, communicate obstacles early, and ensure adherence to work plans.
* Drive well-defined abuse and harm mitigation projects of low to moderate complexity.
* Execute data-driven analyses to architect metrics, synthesize insights, and influence business decisions by presenting trends and recommendations.
* Support cross-functional stakeholders with tactical solutions to defined problems.
* Provide operational monitoring, error resolution, and employee feedback analysis to prevent inaccuracies, reduce latency, and improve process excellence.
* Develop standard scripts and solutions to streamline processes.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
* Proficiency in data analytics & modeling, statistical analysis, and machine learning.
* Technical fluency in Trust & Safety concepts and frameworks.
* Strong project management and operations improvement skills.
* Ability to manage stakeholders and demonstrate thought leadership in Trust & Safety.
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
* Experience with EDR tools (e.g., HX, SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, CrowdStrike).
* Familiarity with NDR tools (e.g., NX, Corelight, Palo Alto NGFW).
* Proficiency in log analysis for investigating and scoping security incidents.
