About The Role
As Quality Manager, you will oversee compliance and ensure the delivery of high-quality care across all TerraGlen Residential Care Centre settings, guaranteeing that care and support are professional, equitable, and of the highest standard. You will ensure that all centres remain fully compliant and prepared for inspections at all times.
You will collaborate closely with the Director of Services and clinical leads to manage placement planning activities for residents effectively and oversee the allocation and use of resources.
You will engage with regulatory and inspection bodies, including HIQA and TUSLA, to promote integrated and coordinated working practices.
Additionally, you will work alongside the Director of Services, Head of Services, and Operations Managers to ensure all staff complete required training, identifying and addressing any gaps promptly.
Location
This is a remote role, but you will be required to drive to our care centres on a weekly basis.
Key Responsibilities
Overseeing quality and compliance
* To make decisions about the appropriate allocation of resources and to ensure deployment of centre staff across all care settings meeting residents needs and
preventing unnecessary significant events, ensuring safety and effective care practices.
* Monitor and regularly review centre management, personnel files, resident's files, maintenance records, health and safety, fire and medication records.
* Ensuring oversight and governance of the centres with the Directors and providing monthly reports on outcomes and risks in centres.
* Manage care and support budgets for centres.
* Work with all relevant and directed external organisations to ensure collaborative and integrated working.
* Monitor and regularly review centre's training audits and ensure gaps in training are identified and resolved. Source bespoke training as deemed necessary.

Governance
* To ensure that TerraGlen Centre's comply with National Standards, Professional Standards and all company Policies and Procedures, safeguarding and child care laws.
* Support the Centre Managers, Deputies and Teams.
* Ensure that systems are in place to manage and reduce risk.
* Ensure safe and sensitive management of complaints, incidents, crises and unanticipated significant events.
* To produce reports on the lived experiences of young people/ service users in residence and the resource allocation by the centres.
* To ensure line managed staff recognise their responsibility for governance and contribute fully.

Leadership
* To provide and embed strong leadership in the care and support services of TerraGlen.
* To imbed the Model of Care in centres across the organisation.
* To ensure teams embed quality assurance in everyday practices in all roles.
* To work closely with the Social Work Departments, HSE, Tusla, Referring Agents, Inspectors and Clinical Participants.

* The post holder will be required to work flexible and unsocial hours.
* Represent TerraGlen at local, regional and national meetings, events and conferences.
* Work closely with HR, Accounts and Marketing elements of the company.

Job Requirement
* Bachelor's degree in Social Care, Health & Social Care, Nursing, Psychology, or related field. A Master's degree or professional leadership/management qualification is highly desirable.
* Minimum 5-7 years' experience in residential care, child/youth services, or healthcare setting, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.
* Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams, including recruitment, performance management, and staff development
* Strong understanding of national care standards, safeguarding legislation, child protection, HIQA/TUSLA requirements, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
* Experience in monitoring quality, compliance, and risk management, and implementing effective governance systems.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to liaise effectively with staff, families, external agencies, and regulatory bodies.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software systems; ability to prepare and analyse reports
* Flexibility to work unsocial and flexible hours; ability to travel between multiple sites as required
