Farm Veterinary Surgeons
for established practices across Ireland.
Join friendly, experienced teams delivering high-quality care to
dairy, beef and sheep
clients.
About the Roles
Full-time hours:
MondayFriday, standard daytime shifts with a one-hour lunch.
OOH/weekend rota:
Typically
1 in 4
(Saturday morningMonday), with
time off in lieu
the following week.
Caseload:
100% farm animal work including routine fertility (US scanning & PDs), calvings/lambings, Caesareans, displaced abomasums, downer cow management, herd/flock health planning, mastitis control, lameness, youngstock/calf health, parasitology and infectious disease investigations (incl. TB testing where applicable).
Tools & support:
Modern equipment (portable ultrasound, fluids, calving kit, blood/FA analysis access), experienced colleagues and RVNs, and practical case back-up when you need it.

1,000 annual CPD allowance
(farm-focused CPD encouraged)
VDS cover paid
Generous OOH bonuses
