Civil project coordinators play a vital role in overseeing the execution of projects within budget and programme requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review project designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure adherence to technical standards.
* Assist in producing detailed project programmes using Microsoft Project, ensuring timely completion and minimal delays.
* Monitor and track project schedules, providing regular progress updates and technical reports to stakeholders.
* Identify potential risks, delays, and critical path activities, proposing corrective measures to maintain project momentum.
* Support the preparation of extension of time claims and negotiate additional costs with clients when required.
* Monitor project costs against budgets, flagging any variances and proposing remedial actions.
* Collaborate with site teams, including Site Agents, Supervisors, and QS staff, to ensure seamless project delivery.
* Contribute to the development and review of Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS), electrical safety procedures, and other health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) documentation.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment. Experience in project coordination or a related field is essential.
