Quantity Surveyor to join leading residential developer with large scale high- and low-density projects delivering hundreds of units over the next decade across Dublin both sides of the M50.
They are expanding operations so potential to become a key member of this growing business, therefore the role is ideal for a QS who is looking to progress swiftly to senior management.
Roles Description:
1. Responsible for estimating of budgets and pricing of Bill of Quantities
2. Project procurement including issuing tender packages, placement of material orders and appointment of subcontractors in line with construction program.
3. Cost Management of multiple projects.
4. Monitoring of project costs and agreeing variations with Contracts Manager.
5. Responsibility for Monthly Valuations & Agreeing Final Accounts.
6. Also offering a 'work-from-home' option.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
7. Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
8. Proven years' experience working as a Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager.
9. Must be commercially and contractually aware.
10. Ambitious and committed to deliver an excellent standard of work.
11. Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project, Cubit or equivalent take off software a distinct advantage.
