Job Description
As a Site Manager, you will lead on-site activities for a project to ensure cost-effective execution of project deliverables in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements during start-up, construction and/or erection, commissioning, and maintenance phases.
You will plan project on-site activities together with the Project Manager, including necessary resources, equipment, and milestones. You will also coordinate agreements between customers and external resources on construction targets, health and safety requirements, site organization, and policy.
Key responsibilities include:
* Planning project on-site activities
* Coordinating customer and external resource agreements
* Managing site operations from receiving assigned site area to handing over completed site back to customer
* Representing project on-site as a key point of contact
* Building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and other local stakeholders
* Ensuring correct handling, storage, and installation of equipment and material to avoid damage
* Reporting project logistics on goods received to site
* Developing and maintaining up-to-date risk assessments and method statements
* Providing training and promoting health and safety considerations to project partners
* Controlling project costs for site work, monitoring actual spend against forecasts, and estimating final costs
* Maintaining document handling systems and using latest revisions for construction work on site
* Managing subcontractors on site to achieve necessary quality and progress to meet delivery dates and agreed standards
Regular reporting to the Project Manager is required on-site activities, HSE, quality, progress, and cost.

Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
* Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent skills
* 5+ years' experience as a Site Manager in construction and/or installation business
* Good understanding of transmission regulations and current HSE legislation
Proven leadership skills with a collaborative approach and strong communication skills are essential.
A proactive and flexible personality with excellent written and spoken communication skills in Swedish and good communication skills in English is required.
