We are working with a well-established company in the manufacturing industry based in Castletownbere, Cork. They are currently looking for an experienced Stores Administrator to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This position would suit someone coming from a warehouse, production, or trades background.
Key Responsibilities:
Purchasing & Receipt of Goods
1. Manage purchase requisitions, goods receipt/dispatch, and ensure quality checks with accurate system updates.
2. Load and unload goods delivered to and dispatched from the depot.
3. Ensure materials are stored correctly in their designated area.
Stock Control
4. Provide support in the development of company-wide minimum stock levels and reorder quantities.
5. Complete stock takes in line with company policy, providing explanations for any discrepancies that arise.
6. Create and accept internal stock transfer requests to and from other company stock locations.
7. Report the issuance of materials to the production floor and complete the job costing process to consume materials into the jobs within the intact IQ system.
Sales
8. Manage the order-to-cash process in the depot, including the sales desk and trade counter.
9. Manage active sales orders and initiate the setup of new or changes to existing customer accounts.
10. Assist customers with any queries they may have.
Cash Reconciliation & Banking
11. Complete the daily cash reconciliation process in the depot and lodge all monies received to the bank promptly.
Requirements:
12. Background in warehousing/production/trades is desirable.
13. Self-starter who works well on their own initiative.
14. Computer-literate with knowledge of stock systems.
15. Full, clean driving license.
16. A forklift license is desirable.
17. Methodical and organised.
18. A flexible approach to working arrangements.
