Bid Administrator Job Opportunity

Are you looking for a role where you can build your career in commercial or pricing? We are seeking a proactive and detail-driven team player to join our team as a Bid Administrator.

This junior-level position will involve supporting the development and maintenance of pricing strategies, product catalogues, and customer proposals. You will work closely with experienced commercial and technical teams to achieve this goal.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for reporting on all activities to the Bid Leader, calculation of company product proposals in alignment with stakeholders, annual/biannual updates of commercial proposals for customers, and ensuring all proposals have valid dates.

You will also support the rollout of customer contracts, maintain/update pricing in the ERP system, and ensure the development and maintenance of the EPAR Catalogue for company products.

Additionally, you will continuously analyse cost and market price development of repairs to individual engine parts, derive and implement measures in cooperation with the Commercial Manager and technical departments.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, problem-solving ability, written/verbal communication skills, and the ability to work with all levels within the company.

They must also be able to work under sustained pressure in a competitive environment, have very good knowledge of internal processes and relationships, and be a motivated, energetic, enthusiastic self-starter who can work on their own initiative.

The person should have diplomacy and negotiating ability, identify business issues and barriers, and have specific qualifications such as being personable/approachable, having a disciplined approach to work, and being proactive in implementing positive change.

They should also have in-depth knowledge of performance metrics, good PC skills especially MS Excel, organisational/time-management skills, decision-making skills, and ERP/MRP IT system user experience.

Minimum Diploma/degree qualified, preferably in a business discipline, and highly motivated, pro-active and confident person eager to learn and take on responsibility.

Fluency in another European Language, e.g., German/French, will be an advantage.
