Project Nature: On-going support of the Computerised Social Security System II (CSSS-II) for the Social Welfare Department
Duties
Plan and manage activities for ongoing support and system enhancements for various social security schemes including TAVA and CLEIC.
Produce project documents.
Assure the quality of project deliverables.
Supervise team members of Analyst/Programmer grade and T-Contract staff to carry out their duties.
Perform on-call support duty.
Qualifications
Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp: 8.0
Yrs of Relevant Exp: 2.0
Requirements
Experience in project management of large scale system implementation and maintenance.
Experience in PRINCE and SSADM methodologies.
Experience/knowledge in application systems using J2EE and DB2.
Preferred experience in software testing management.
Preferred experience in handling projects in the business area of social welfare.
Technical Skills
At least 5 years' experience in DB2 (DB2).
At least 4 years' experience in SSADM (SDM).
At least 2 years' experience in IT Application Development and Management (ADM).
At least 2 years' experience in J2EE Development (JDE).
At least 2 years' experience in Project Management Professional (PMP) (PMP).
At least 2 years' experience in PRINCE (PRE).
Non-technical Skills
At least 3 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV).
At least 3 years' experience in managing Government projects (MGP).
At least 2 years' experience in project management (PRM).
At least 2 years' experience in quality assurance (QAS).
3 years' experience in software testing (STM) is an advantage.
Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent.
At least 8 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
