Responsibilities
Lead client relationships and stakeholder management through ongoing communication and resolution of key audit issues.
Engage in financial services business development activities to identify new business opportunities and apply knowledge to grow our business.
Understand clients’ industry, key performance drivers, business trends and emerging technical and industry developments.
Provide guidance and expertise to professional staff; conduct and participate in a wide range including audits, controls reviews, remediation projects and regulatory compliance assistance.
Develop team members by encouraging independent thinking and responsibility for contributions.
Plan engagement objectives to ensure compliance with professional standards, address risk, and prepare/manage management communications, proposal budgets, fee negotiations and overruns.
Review and approve financial statements, opinions, reports and other deliverable documents for signing.
Qualifications
Qualified Accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA).
Minimum 5 years assurance experience in a Big 4 practice, or equivalent experience as Manager in a professional services firm’s financial services department.
Strong client relationship track record and experience managing and delivering client projects.
Detailed knowledge of accounting standards impacting the sector.
Ability to prioritise and organise work with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially report writing.
Professional and proactive approach to work.
Experience with IFRS or US GAAP.
Dedication to teamwork and leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong communication skills and team‑working ability.
Minimum of 18 months left on a valid Passport to facilitate work permit & visa applications (where applicable).
