Job Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
* Underwrite Commercial Combined business (Property & Liability) in line with agreed standards and limits to deliver planned financial results.
* Contribute to the growth and development of the Commercial Lines portfolio through quality risk selection and acquisition of new business.
* Execute underwriting discipline through consistent application of selection criteria, rating tools and pricing guidance.
* Act as a referral point for more junior team members and provide technical guidance where required.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain strong internal relationships and ensure high service standards.
* Proactively monitor and review performance of selected lines of business, supporting product development and strategy.
* Provide regular updates and reports on business performance, opportunities, and market trends.
Requirements:
* Minimum 4 years' experience in Commercial Underwriting, ideally covering Property and Liability risks.
* Solid understanding of Commercial Combined products (non-motor).
* CIP qualified as a minimum; working towards MDI or ACII is desirable.
* Strong technical underwriting skills and sound decision-making ability within delegated authority.
* Proven ability to work independently and proactively within a team.
* Quality focused with a commercial mindset and ambition to develop your career.
* Third level qualification is desirable.
