Senior .NET Contractor Our client, an Irish organisation, is seeking an experienced .NET Developer to join their technology solutions team. This role centres on delivering backend services and internal web applications. The position is project-focused, offering exposure to impactful public-facing systems. This is a hybrid role based in Dublin City Centre (2-3 days onsite). The initial contract is for 6 months, expected to extend. Develop backend components and internal web applications for project-based initiatives. Build and support integrations with external APIs. Work closely with project managers and technical leads to deliver high-quality solutions. Contribute to Agile delivery practices and maintain clear technical documentation. Collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team environment. Required Experience: Strong experience with C# / .NET Core and Microsoft stack. Proficiency with Azure services including APIs, Functions, and Terraform. Experience with messaging technologies ( e.g. RabbitMQ/Kafka ) Skilled in RESTful API development. Familiarity with SQL Server, Entity Framework, and automated unit testing. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git/GitHub/Azure DevOps, and Jira. Strong grounding in OOP, design patterns, SOLID principles, and development standards. Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code.
