Job Summary

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Management Accountant to lead our finance team.


The Role

* Key Responsibilities:
* Oversight of financial compliance, reporting, and operational accounting tied to external stakeholders and statutory requirements
* Timely filing/payment of PAYE, VAT, RCT/CIS, Intrastat in Ireland & UK
* Maintain audit-ready records and adherence to compliance standards
* Record, reconcile, and report intercompany transactions
* Ensure transfer pricing rules and agreements are adhered to
* Review monthly intercompany reconciliations
* Prepare consolidated head office reports with accuracy and timeliness
* Provide variance analysis for management accounts
* Lead audits in Ireland & UK, providing required reconciliations and documentation
* Oversee accounts payable/receivable across multiple entities and currencies
* Manage ageing reports, collections, and supplier payments
* Monitor COGS, material usage, waste, and margins
* Highlight inefficiencies and support cost control initiatives
* Support time tracking, shift planning, and payroll processing
* Allocate labour costs and monitor staffing metrics
* Develop short- and long-term cash flow and P&L forecasts
* Prepare management accounts and collaborate with finance partners
* Manage a 5-person finance team in Ireland & India
* Set deadlines, review output, provide guidance, and foster a process-driven culture
* Provide senior finance cover as needed
* Track project costs vs. budgets and update profitability monthly
* Support revenue forecasting and margin analysis
* Analyse project margins for pricing decisions


Requirements

* Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
* Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) highly desirable
* Minimum 3 years of experience in senior accounting roles
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Audit and compliance expertise
* Intercompany transaction experience
* Transfer pricing knowledge
* Project management and analytical skills
