This role requires a highly capable Communications and Public Relations Professional who is capable of handling a wide range of projects with a high degree of independence and sound judgement.
Key responsibilities include performing day-to-day client account work, such as media monitoring and analyses, producing written materials, coordinating events, maintaining client and media contacts, managing projects, and supervising more junior staff.
The ideal candidate will have excellent copy-writing, media management, and event management skills, as well as good knowledge of the digital/social landscape and proficiency in using internal and external research capabilities.
They will also be able to balance workload and tasks, communicate effectively with team members, and demonstrate solid teamwork capabilities and supervisory skills.
In addition, they will need to be able to make increasingly substantive contributions to the development and presentation of new business programmes for potential and existing clients.
The Senior Account Manager will also be responsible for financial and administrative tasks, such as budget development and monitoring, billing and activity reporting, and timesheet completion.
The role requires a high degree of independence, but also the ability to seek advice from supervisors and other team members when needed.
