Join us.Your Impact As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining OpenText's cloud infrastructure platforms across AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-premises environments. You will focus primarily on Kubernetes-based platforms, driving automation frameworks for software delivery and platform operations.You will collaborate with Product Management and Architecture teams to translate design requirements into delivered platform capabilities, including cost optimization, blue/green deployments, autoscaling, and new tooling such as KEDA or Istio. In addition, you will participate in on-call rotations, ensuring reliability and timely resolution of incidents. This role is ideal for someone who can bridge architecture and operations while scaling and automating platforms that power mission-critical enterprise applications.What the Role OffersBuild, operate, and maintain cloud infrastructure platforms across AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-premises, including upgrades, patching, and ongoing maintenance.Manage and optimize Kubernetes environments, including multi-tenant deployments, networking, scaling policies, Helm-based software delivery, and service mesh tools.Develop and maintain automation frameworks for orchestrating platform operations and software delivery using GitLab CI/CD, Ansible, Python, Helm, and other tooling.Collaborate with Product Management and Architecture to translate platform designs into delivered features, including cost improvements, autoscaling, and deployment strategies.Drive continuous improvement in reliability, observability, and automation across platforms.Participate in on-call rotations for incident management and lead post-incident reviews to improve platform resilience.Mentor and guide other engineers in SRE best practices, Kubernetes operations, and cloud infrastructure management.What You Need to SucceedBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.Proven experience building, operating, and automating cloud infrastructure platforms across AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-premises.Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes (multi-tenant deployments, Helm, autoscaling, ingress controllers, service mesh tools).Strong experience with automation frameworks for infrastructure and software delivery (GitLab CI/CD, Ansible, Python).Solid Linux administration, networking, and security fundamentals.Experience managing CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and deployment orchestration.Comfortable participating in on-call rotations and handling incident management.Ability to collaborate with Product Management and Architecture to deliver platform features aligned with design goals.Strong problem-solving skills and a focus on reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.One Last ThingOpenText is more than just a corporation; it's a global community where trust is foundational, the bar is raised, and outcomes are owned.OpenText's efforts to build an inclusive work environment go beyond simply complying with applicable laws.
