Youll play a vital role in delivering high-quality emergency care, triaging and assessing patients, and supporting the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective treatment of acute and critical cases.
Key Responsibilities Provide professional, evidence-based nursing care within the Emergency Department.
Triage, assess, and prioritise patients according to clinical need.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, maintaining accurate documentation.
Support doctors and other healthcare professionals during emergency procedures.
Monitor, evaluate, and record patient progress.
Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies.
Ensure all care is delivered in line with HSE and NMBI standards and policies.
Maintain a compassionate and professional approach with patients and their families.
Requirements Registered Nurse with NMBI (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland) active PIN essential.
Minimum 612 months recent experience in an A&E / Emergency setting (acute hospital).
Up-to-date BLS / ACLS certification (and other relevant clinical training).
Excellent communication, assessment, and organisational skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy environment.
Eligible to work in Ireland (valid visa or EU/EEA citizenship).
