We are currently partnering with a leading automation manufacturing company that specialises in delivering cutting-edge solutions who is currently recruiting for a Qualified Electrician.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install, test, and commission electrical systems and automation equipment.
* Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical and control systems.
* Diagnose and repair faults in machinery, control panels, and PLC systems.
* Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
* Ensure all electrical work complies with current health, safety, and regulatory standards.
* Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
* Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimise performance and reliability.
* Complete and maintain accurate documentation for all work carried out.
Requirements/Qualifications:
* Fully qualified Electrician with a recognised Electrical trade certification (e.g., QQI Level 6 or equivalent).
* Proven experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
* Experience working with PLCs, motor control systems, sensors, and automation equipment.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Additional qualifications or training in automation or control systems (Desirable).
