Internship Overview: Each year, TCS offers an internship opportunity within the Actuarial Department. The program stretches over a 12-month period and takes place at TCS Global Delivery Centre in Letterkenny Co. Donegal. This internship is a great way to kick-start your career by gaining invaluable work experience and being part of a dynamic team within a great environment. As an Actuarial intern you'll be tasked with combining your creativity and analytical skills to solve some of the most complex problems in the insurance, retirement, investment and systems markets. This role provides a unique opportunity to explore a wide range of actuarial techniques within a leading-edge environment. The internship follows a structured program, which includes training courses, mentoring and opportunities to work with corporate professionals on real projects. You will have ample opportunities to learn and apply new skills in a modern corporate environment. The program will conclude with an opportunity for you to showcase and present the skills you have learned to senior leadership.You will be mentored by an experienced practitioner who will help you gain a strong career foundation through daily training and coaching.By the end of your internship, you will have a thorough understanding of how actuarial techniques are used to solve business problems.You will be accountable for your work from start to finish and present your results to TCS Senior Management.The internships will be 12 months in duration beginning in May 2026.This will be a paid internship.Qualifications, Skills & Experience:Candidates should be studying a degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, Economics, Business, Science‐based, or another analytical field, and be on track to graduate with a minimum 2:1 classificationExcellent computer skills (programming and analytical tools proficiency a plus)Strong communication skills, both written and verbalKnowledge of software packages used in business communication such as MS Excel, Word and PowerPointExperience in model development, implementation and/or validation a plusKnowledge of insurance or retirement products is a plusN.B. - Application does not guarantee an intern assignment, and an intern assignment does not guarantee regular full-time employment upon completion of your degree program.
