Seasonal Production Team Member – Candle Manufacturer
We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to join our candle manufacturing team in Bandon, Co. Cork. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a friendly and dynamic environment, contributing to the creation of high-quality home fragrance products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work under the supervision of the Production Supervisor to meet daily production targets.
* Manufacture candles and home fragrance products using provided equipment (training will be provided).
* Perform basic computer tasks related to production, inventory, and order processing.
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace by cleaning and sorting materials.
* Dispatch client orders, including palletised shipments, as well as online orders.
* Assist with inventory management to ensure accurate stock levels.
* Follow all instructions precisely and adhere to the daily production schedule.
* Participate in training for candle testing and quality assurance.
Requirements:
* Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality are essential.
* Attention to detail is critical – must be thorough and detail-oriented.
* Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team.
* Comfortable using equipment for candle manufacturing.
* Physically capable of handling light lifting and manual tasks.
* Physically capable of working on your feet for duration of shift.
* References from previous employers are required.
* Willingness to work under a 3-month probationary period
* Must be able to travel to work independently or live within close proximity to the workplace in Bandon.
Please Note:
This is a temporary position for our busy Christmas season. While the role is seasonal, there is the possibility of extending employment beyond this period, subject to performance and business needs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €14.00 per hour
