You will act as the primary relationship owner while identifying opportunities to expand services across cloud, infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity.You will work closely with internal technical and delivery teams to ensure customers receive high-value, outcome-driven solutions aligned to their business needs.Key ResponsibilitiesAccount Ownership & GrowthManage and grow a defined portfolio of SME and mid-market clientsAct as the primary commercial and relationship contact across accountsDrive revenue growth through renewals, upsell, and cross-sell opportunitiesMeet and exceed revenue, retention, and customer satisfaction targetsOpportunity DevelopmentProactively identify and develop opportunities across:Microsoft Azure (IaaS, backup, disaster recovery)Microsoft 365 (licensing, security, governance, Copilot readiness)On-premise infrastructure (server, storage, virtualisation)Networking solutions (LAN, firewall, WiFi)Cybersecurity, risk, and compliance initiativesConduct account reviews, discovery sessions, and solution-led conversationsPrepare and present proposals, renewals, and quarterly business reviewsCustomer Relationship ManagementBuild trusted advisor relationships with IT and business stakeholdersMaintain strong engagement across customer organisationsIdentify risks to accounts and implement retention strategiesEnsure high levels of customer satisfaction and service alignmentSales Process & CollaborationMaintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and CRM (ConnectWise) recordsWork closely with pre-sales, technical, and service delivery teamsSupport development of account plans, pricing strategies, and proposalsStay current with Microsoft technologies, security trends, and MSP servicesSkills & Experience Required3–5+ years' experience in an Account Manager role within an IT MSPProven track record of account growth, retention, and revenue deliveryStrong experience selling:Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 solutionsOn-prem infrastructure (server, storage, virtualisation)Networking (LAN, firewall, WiFi)Cybersecurity and compliance-led solutionsStrong commercial awareness with experience managing recurring revenueExcellent relationship management, communication, and negotiation skillsAbility to engage confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience working within structured sales processes and CRM systemsFull clean driving licenceThe Ideal CandidateCommercially driven with a strong customer focusSkilled at identifying and converting growth opportunities within accountsComfortable managing renewals, pipeline, and recurring revenue modelsWell organised with a structured, CRM-led approachProactive, reliable, and able to operate in a fast-paced environmentPassionate about technology and continuous learningMicrosoft certifications (Azure, Microsoft 365, Security)Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIS2, GDPR
