Role purpose:
The Vendor and Budget Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the organization's vendor relationships and financial planning.
This role is critical for ensuring cost-effective procurement, maintaining strong vendor performance and managing departmental budget with precision and foresight.
The successful candidate will combine strong analytical skills with excellent negotiation and relationship management abilities.
Essence of Role – Key Accountabilities:
Vendor Management: develop and execute a vendor management strategy that aligns with organizational goals; manage full vendor lifecycle, including sourcing, selection, contract negotiation, onboarding and off-boarding; establish and monitor key performance indicators and service level agreements; conduct regular vendor performance reviews and risk assessments; serve as primary point of contact for complex vendor issues and contract escalations; oversee contract renewal process.
Budget Management & Planning: develop, implement and monitor departmental budget (Capex, Opex & inter-company); conduct detailed financial analysis, forecasting and variance reporting; track and manage vendor-related expenses; identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements; collaborate with finance teams for accurate invoice processing and reconciliation; prepare regular reports to senior management; develop continuous improvement processes.
We Are Looking For You, If You Have:
Synthesis/ presentation skills, analytical thinking and problem-solving oriented.
Ability to coordinate different teams to secure project execution.
Dynamic, willing to learn, high initiative and self-motivation.
Flexible, open attitude & empathetic, driven to help the customer as a priority.
Knowledge of IT processes.
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel & PowerBI.
Experience implementing or maintaining digital governance models.
Technical background – telecommunications engineering and computer science preferred.
