Senior Construction Project Manager

The role of Senior Construction Project Manager requires a professional with exceptional leadership and organizational skills to oversee the successful delivery of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction methodologies, building regulations, and project management principles.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversight of day-to-day site activities to ensure all work aligns with project plans, schedules, and specifications.
">
* Monitoring project progress, preparing detailed updates for stakeholders, and maintaining accurate records of site activities.
">
* Coordination and supervision of subcontractors and tradespeople to ensure efficient workflows and quality output.
">
* Conducting regular inspections to ensure construction adheres to technical drawings, quality standards, and project specifications.
">
* Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and welfare management systems by conducting site inductions, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.
">
* Set out site works using robotic total stations, GPS, and other surveying tools, ensuring accurate measurements and layouts.
">
* Management of plant, labour, and materials, including monitoring day-work activities and liaising with suppliers for timely orders.
">
* Addressing technical issues on-site, interpreting designs, and communicating design changes or construction challenges to the team.
">
* Acting as the primary point of contact on-site for contractors, suppliers, inspectors, and regulatory authorities, ensuring clear and effective communication.
">
* Reporting regularly to management on project progress, resource requirements, and any issues affecting timelines or budgets.
">
* Collaboration with clients and consultants to resolve queries and maintain satisfaction while upholding the company's standards for quality and professionalism.

Requirements:

* Strong understanding of construction methodologies and building regulations.

* Excellent organisational and time management skills to meet deadlines effectively.

* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to manage teams and liaise with stakeholders.

* Analytical and problem-solving skills to address on-site challenges promptly.

* Proficiency in construction software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project).

* Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

* Team-oriented approach with the ability to build strong working relationships.

* Adaptability to work in fast-paced, dynamic construction environments.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
