About the Role
* This is a full-time role for 6 months without extension, offering you the chance to gain valuable experience in desktop support.
Key Responsibilities
* Troubleshoot PC-related problems via phone, remote tools, or desk-side support, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
* Build, configure, and troubleshoot PC and laptop applications and hardware components, staying up-to-date with the latest technology.
* Facilitate warranty repair with relevant hardware vendors, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring seamless resolution.
* Perform ad-hoc deployment and/or on-site installation of workstation hardware and/or software, adapting to changing needs and priorities.
* Maintenance of workstation/workstation spare parts break/fix, upgrades, and new hires, driving continuous improvement and process optimization.
* Complete incidents and requests within SLA in pressurised environments, prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands.
* Ensure tickets are updated daily, maintaining accurate records and facilitating effective communication.
* Support meeting room environment and video conferencing as needed, ensuring high-quality collaboration and connectivity.
* Support printers, scanners, and other peripherals, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions.
* Support mobile devices and Apple MAC devices, staying current with the latest trends and technologies.
* End-user data backup and restoration as needed, safeguarding critical information and preventing data loss.
