This role presents an exciting opportunity to drive consumer protection initiatives, promote responsible gambling practices, and engage with stakeholders across various sectors.
This individual will report to the Director of Consumer Protection and be responsible for leading communications functions, including strategy development, implementation, and evaluation.
* Developing and implementing effective communications strategies to promote consumer protection and responsible gambling practices.
* Engaging with diverse stakeholders, including support and advocacy groups, public sector organisations, and the gambling and gaming industry.
* Managing media campaigns and preparing press releases to effectively communicate key messages.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leverage strategic thinking to drive consumer protection initiatives forward.
* Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring open communication and collaboration.
* Ensure effective management of media campaigns and press releases.
Requirements:
* A third-level or professional qualification in a relevant discipline, such as communications, public relations, or journalism.
* A minimum of five years' professional experience, with at least three years in a senior role involving communications strategy, stakeholder engagement, or media relations.
* Demonstrable experience in leading a communications function, including strategy development, implementation, and evaluation.
