Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our global team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing world-class quality assurance processes.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement supplier quality strategies to ensure delivery of high-quality products.
* Manage suppliers to deliver quality products through product & process investigations & evaluations.
* Liaise with external suppliers to ensure they are trained and adhere to quality requirements.
* Issue Corrective Action Reports and work with suppliers on Root Cause Investigations and corrective actions.
* Conduct supplier performance reviews and report key supplier quality metrics.
* Support technology transfer initiatives and new projects.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role or industry.
* A third-level qualification in an appropriate discipline (Quality Management, Mechatronics, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering).
* Experience in leading and being part of teams and projects with strong communication skills written and verbal.
Skills and Attributes:
You will have:
* Advanced knowledge of mechanical, mechatronic, and electromechanical measurement systems.
* Expert level inspection methodologies such as Fabricated/Machined Metal Mechanical/Visual inspection, Precision linear measurement, non-contact measurement, Moulded and Machined plastics inspection and measurement.
* Geometrical Tolerancing (e.g. true position, perpendicularity, concentricity, angularity, roundness etc.).
