Duties
We have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator based in Dublin. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will provide effective route planning and control all administration within the logistics department.
We Are Looking For
The successful candidate will need to possess a good level of IT skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as is the capability to follow established procedures. You will be able to prioritise your work, display a high level of attention to detail while working within a team, and have IMDG training—a distinct advantage.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
To provide accurate and effective administration & record keeping.
To schedule fleet & contracted haulage effectively to meet both service, fleet utilisation and cost objectives.
To ensure maximum fleet utilisation when route planning & exporting / importing for contracted haulage.
To organise & control all contracted haulage and reduce contracted haulage cost wherever possible.
Ensure compliance with all transportation legal requirements relating to transportation by road, sea & air, as well as compliance with all quality, EHS, insurance requirements, and GDP / Food Safety requirements.
To report accidents, incidents and near misses as per company policy / procedures and comply with all safety notices.
To ensure good housekeeping within the logistics department, both internal workstations & vehicles.
To process purchase and expense returns as required.
To confirm delivery of orders despatched / received is carried out within the required timeframe.
To ensure fleet service & maintenance is completed as required.
