Lead Store Manager Opportunity in South Dublin
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a busy supermarket store, including managing staff, stock control and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a customer-first approach.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all aspects of store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling and staff supervision
* Lead and motivate a team to provide excellent customer service and achieve sales targets
* Oversee stock control, ordering and inventory management to ensure shelves are always stocked
* Handle rostering, training and performance management for staff members
* Maintain store presentation standards, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment
* Monitor store performance and implement strategies to drive growth and profitability
* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
Requirements:
* Ideally 3-5 years' experience in a dynamic retail management position
* Strong people management and leadership skills
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities
* A proven track record of meeting sales targets and managing costs
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
