Unijobs on behalf of University of Limerick are seeking a Part-Time Administrator to join its administrative team in the School of Law, within the University.
This position is required to support the Stable Lives for Safer Streets (SLSSHub) Research Project.
This is a part-time, temporary position, working 17.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday on campus.
This position is initially anticipated to be until 5th of March ****.
The successful candidate will be offered €***** per hour.
Key Responsibilities: Work with SLSSHub team to develop procedures for effective and efficient project administration and manage administration operation of the SLSSHub.
Document procedures and act as recording secretary for SLSSHub partner meetings.
Contribute to the development of the Hub.
Co-ordinate and manage collaboration and community engagement events; SLSSHub's storage system and editing and design of policy reports.
Interface with the School of Law, AHSS Faculty and University administrative offices on behalf of the project.
Coordinate Procurement for UL attributed costs and liaise with contact in QUB for QUB attributed costs for SLSShub.
Maintain SLSSHub Website and Social Media presence Set-up procedures and coordinated the collection of information for the SLSSHub website.
Proof-read content.
Contribute to SLSSHub discussions regarding ongoing website improvements.
Work with SLSSHub to identify relevant social media opportunities to the team and encourage the use of social media.
Post relevant SLSSHub's content on relevant social media and monitor responses.
Contribute to SLSSHub discussions regarding ongoing website/social media improvements.
Essential Skills, Experience and Qualifications: Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication skills - both written and oral.
High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
Excellent time management skills including the ability to prioritise and complete tasks.
Ability to take initiative and devise innovative solutions to day-to-day problems.
Excellent IT skills and knowledge of a range of Microsoft packages (SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) social media and website content managements skills.
Evidence of being an effective member of a team.
A flexible approach to work.
Experience in undertaking high level organisational and administrative tasks with emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience in organising events such as conferences, workshops, external meetings.
Experience working with external stakeholders.
Minimum of 1 year relevant administrative experience.
Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
Desirable Skills & Knowledge: Broad understanding of the University/Third Level Sector.
Working knowledge of UL Procurement system.
Knowledge of UL administrative procedures and processes.
Experience in data collection and data management.
Experience managing social media accounts and website maintenance.
