The Role
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all financial and contractual aspects of projects – from tendering and cost planning to final accounts – ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and manage bills of quantities, cost estimates, and tender submissions across building, electrical, and firestopping projects.
* Monitor project costs, variations, and valuations throughout the project lifecycle.
* Administer contracts and ensure compliance with RIAI, Public Works, and industry standards.
* Liaise with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure financial transparency.
* Provide regular cost reports and forecasts to senior management.
* Contribute to value engineering and risk management strategies.
Requirements
* Minimum 4+ years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor (ideally across multi-disciplinary projects – building, M&E, or specialist contracting).
* Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying / Construction Economics.
* Strong knowledge of Irish construction contracts, health & safety regulations, and insurance reinstatement works.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Cubit, Buildsoft, or equivalent QS software.
* Excellent organisational, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Full driving licence (Munster travel required).
