Project Coordinator Job Description
The Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the success of our MEP projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless project delivery through effective administration, coordination, and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
* Track and manage RFIs, technical submittals, and action items to maintain project momentum.
* Maintain the MEP issues log, prioritizing tasks and flagging overdue items to ensure timely completion.
* Schedule and document internal/contractor coordination meetings to facilitate open communication and collaboration.
* Liaise with site teams, client representatives, and main contractors to provide updates on project progress.
* Format and submit project documents via Procore, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
* Support handover deliverables, tagging, and compliance tracking to ensure smooth project closure.
* Evaluate and escalate outstanding MEP risks and delays to project leadership for prompt resolution.
* Help standardize task/time logging via Harvest or similar tools to optimize project efficiency.
* Onboard new team members and manage access to tools/processes to streamline project workflows.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed as a Project Coordinator, you should possess:
* A minimum of 4 years' experience in engineering coordination, project support, or technical administration.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly, concisely, and confidently convey information.
* Proficiency in Procore, SharePoint, or Aconex to manage project documents and workflows.
* Comfortable following up with professionalism and persistence to drive project progress.
* Detail-oriented, structured, and adaptable to site-based work environments.
