Construction Manager
Job Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Construction Manager to oversee the technical engineering elements and day-to-day site management for our projects.
* Ensure all setting-out and engineering duties are carried out efficiently
* Coordinate, supervise, and support subcontractors daily to guarantee smooth project progression
* Develop and implement site programmes and schedules to maintain timely completion
* Manage site deliveries, plant, and materials effectively
* Maintain high standards of quality control, safety, and site compliance
* Proactively resolve on-site issues and ensure their prompt resolution
* Liaise directly with senior management regarding project progress, issues, and weekly targets
* Maintain accurate site records and ensure all work meets specifications and drawings
* Ensure the site remains organized, safe, and tidy at all times
* Provide overall project leadership through all stages to completion
About You:
* Relevant degree or qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (desired)
* Significant setting-out experience (ICF experience beneficial but not essential)
* Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage trades and build strong relationships with site staff
* Practical, proactive, and solution-driven approach to problem-solving
* Comfortable working on small sites with a high level of responsibility
* Strong ability to read drawings and maintain high-quality workmanship
* Full, clean drivers licence
