About the Role:
Gourmet Food Parlour is seeking a friendly, professional, and proactive
Catering Driver & Business Development Executive
to join our growing catering division. This full-time role combines on-the-road event service with a strong focus on business development. You'll be delivering high-quality food, participating in event service, and actively seeking new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver catering orders across Galway and surrounding areas for corporate clients, private functions, and sports events.
* Set up and serve buffet and drop-off services to a high standard.
* Identify potential new clients and opportunities while on the road.
* Conduct sales outreach, presentations, and pitches to prospective customers.
* Maintain accurate records of clients, bookings, and sales leads.
* Assist with bookkeeping, accounts, and other financial records related to your events and sales.
* Load, unload, and maintain catering equipment and supplies.
* Work independently or as part of the catering and sales team.
Requirements:
* Must be 23 years or older (insurance requirement).
* Full, clean driving license essential.
* Proven catering experience is essential.
* Experience in Sales and customer service
* Bookkeeping/accounts experience is essential.
* HACCP and Food Safety training desirable.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
* Ability to take initiative and work independently.
* Fluent in English.
* Enthusiastic, energetic, and professional.

Physical Requirements:
* Lifting and carrying catering equipment.
