Sales and Operations Assistant Manager Role
The Sales and Operations Assistant Manager will play a key role in driving sales and achieving business objectives. We are looking for an experienced professional with strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drive Store Performance: Collaborate with the Store Manager to set sales goals, track performance, and evolve processes to achieve continuous store growth.
2. Team Culture and Development: Foster a positive team culture through recruiting, training, and developing staff. Build a motivated and high-performing team to drive store success.
3. Data Analysis and Decision Making: Analyze sales data and financial reports to inform decisions alongside the Store Manager. Identify operational and commercial opportunities to drive growth.
4. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints professionally.
5. Operations Management: Support day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash management tasks, and scheduling.
6. Talent Development: Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training new employees. Provide feedback and coaching to improve colleague performance.
Role Objectives and KPIs:
1. Sales Target Achievement: Contribute to achieving or exceeding the store's monthly sales target.
2. KPI Drive: Drive additional KPIs such as units, conversion, ATV, UPT, upselling, and cross-selling targets.
3. NPS and Employee Satisfaction: Maintain a high Net Promoter Score and ensure employee satisfaction scores meet or exceed company benchmarks.
4. Operational Cost Management: Assist in keeping operational costs within allocated budget.
Requirements and Experience:
* Leadership Experience: Previous supervisory or management experience in a fast-paced retail/customer-facing environment.
* Retail Knowledge: Passionate about retail and understanding of the latest trends and competitors.
* Coaching and Development: Experience in coaching and developing individuals to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
* Communication and Commerciality: Strong communication skills, keen eye for detail, and commercial acumen.
