Our Junior Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in supporting our project teams with accurate cost management and financial advice. This office-based position involves several tasks:
* Task 1: Cost Estimation
Preparing cost estimates and budgets to ensure that projects are delivered within budget.
* Task 2: Cost Analysis
Conducting cost analysis and preparing reports to identify areas for improvement.
* Task 3: Tender Documents
Preparing tender documents and contracts to facilitate smooth project delivery.
* Task 4: Project Monitoring
Monitoring project costs and ensuring they remain within budget.
* Task 5: Liaising
Liaising with contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
* Task 6: Support
Supporting senior quantity surveyors as required.
Requirements
* A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field is essential.
* The ideal candidate will have strong numerical and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also necessary.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is required.
* The ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail is crucial.
* Previous experience in a similar role or the construction industry is beneficial.
