This role provides leadership in the development and maintenance of Quality Initiatives and Risk Management Systems throughout the Hospital, ensuring that the Hospital develops and implements effective systems of care and services in a continuous manner in line with Hospital strategy.Opened in 2012, Mater Private Cork is an acute hospital located close to Cork city centre in Citygate, Mahon. The hospital has more than 100 consultants and a 75-bed facility, offering services in Cardiac, Vascular, Eye, Orthopaedic and Spinal care, with Emergency Department and Urgent Cardiac Care services. Reporting to the CEO, the successful candidate will foster a culture of Quality & Safety Management in collaboration with all disciplines across the hospital.
