The Junior Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Officer will play a key role in supporting the EHS function at CPAC Modulars headquarters, which includes both office and production environments. This role is ideal for a motivated andorganisedindividual at theearly stagesof their EHS career who is looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, modern construction and manufacturing setting. Working closely with the EHS team and other departments, the Junior EHS Officer will help coordinate compliance processes,maintainsafety documentation, and support the implementation of CPACs EHS standards across our operations. Monitor andmaintaintraining records,identifyingexpiring certifications and upcoming training needs; liaise with internal stakeholders and external providers to coordinate training. Compile and deliver Toolbox Talks, ensuringtimelyand relevant delivery each week. Conduct weekly EHS audits at CPAC Modular HQ (offices and production areas), report findings, and follow up on corrective actions.Occasional travel for site audits at project locations nationwide may also berequired. Identify, record, and escalate EHS issues;monitorresolution progress and track corrective actions to ensuretimelyclosure. Review subcontractor Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) in collaboration with the EHS Supervisor. Support production and project site teams inmaintainingaccurateand up-to-date safety documentation. Coordinate the mobilisation of new construction sites, ensuring EHS signage, documentation, and safety systems are in place prior to commencement. Ensure all lifting equipment is inspected in line with GA1/GA2 requirements andmaintainrelated records. Oversee Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) for tools used on site and ensure compliance logs are current. Deliver in-person and online EHS inductions for new starters and visitors. Become proficient in Autodesk Construction CloudandBoxcore(training provided)toassiststaff with EHS-related documentation and form management. Assistwith preparation and submission of Abnormal Load Permit applications. Manage the PPE store, ensuring stock levels aremaintainedand orders placed whenrequired. Support the Project Managers, EHS Manager, and Quality & Compliance team with safety-related tasks and initiatives. Experience: Understanding of safety regulations and procedures applicable to multi-site operations. Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities. Positive, proactive attitude anda strong senseof accountabilityand adaptability. Good written and verbal communication skills. Proficiencyin Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint. Education: A recognisedEHSqualification(i.e. QQI Level 5 or NEBOSH General Certificate) Safe Pass(desirable) Additional Requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
