Job Title: Technical Account Manager
We are currently seeking a candidate from a mechanical/electrical engineering background for a new role with an exciting client specialising in utilities nationwide. The role will act as liaison between Field Service Technicians, Technical Sales, IT Support, and the client base.
Responsibilities:
5. Overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of digital systems and services, ensuring they meet the needs of the organisation and its customers are met.
6. Working in a cross functional role in managing the provisioning of service to commercial clients.
Education:
7. Ideally a BSc in Engineering or Technology or similar.
Skills and Experience:
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to support both customers and internal teams
9. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities
10. Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
11. Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
12. Awareness of Cyber Security principles and best practices
Key Responsibilities Digital Services Operations
13. Act as the primary point of contact for IoT Monitoring Devices within the Service Operations team
14. Monitor connected customer assets and ensure reliable system performance
15. Support the procurement, installation, and commissioning of Equipment for both new and retrofit installations
16. Activate and configure equipment through the web portal, ensuring accurate linkage to customer systems
17. Verify system performance, signal strength, and data transmission integrity
18. Monitor alarms and escalate performance issues appropriately
19. Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of Equipment operational processes
20. Support the creation and accuracy of predictive maintenance dashboards
21. Compile and deliver trending and performance reports to internal and external stakeholders
22. Ensure automated reports meet customer requirements and expectations
23. Conduct operational reviews and highlight any system issues or improvement areas
Technical Support & Administration
24. Provide remote technical support to customers and resolve technical queries efficiently
25. Analyse system data to generate performance and status reports
26. Maintain ownership of your work schedule and manage priorities proactively
27. Participate in monthly strategic meetings with the European Digital Services Team to share updates and contribute to service enhancements
Other Duties
28. Occasional travel, including overseas, for business, training, or project support
29. Carry out any other related duties as assigned by management
