We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join a growing team in the operational telecoms sector. Location - Dunboyne, Co: Meath Role Purpose: Lead and promote communications and security products to key accounts, with the objective of achieving financial targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Drive revenue growth and acquire new business by identifying opportunities in the market. Build detailed profiles of target clients, including contacts, roles, existing systems, competitor activity, and potential opportunities. Set short, medium, and long-term objectives for accounts and define target lists and timelines for new business sectors and customers. Ensure timely reporting, including monthly sales meetings and quarterly performance reviews, to track progress against objectives. Prepare focused presentations detailing activity, progress, and outlook. Collaborate with the marketing team to identify and develop sales collateral to support business development efforts. Key Skills and Competencies: Academic qualification in business, engineering, or management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with sales techniques and solution-based selling. Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting. Proven ability to plan, organize, and manage resources effectively. Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience: Demonstrated success in acquiring new business and delivering solution sales. Experience in operational telecoms, communications, or related sectors; national rail/transport experience is desirable. Proven ability to manage stakeholders in a matrix organization.
