Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Industrial Maintenance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations group, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of our industrial equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities
* To lead and manage a team of highly qualified electricians in a fast-paced industrial environment.
* To perform maintenance tasks on electrical equipment, such as PLCs, instrumentation, and variable speed drives, to maintain dependable and safe machinery.
* To ensure that maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with site regulations and guidelines.
* To utilize the PEMAC maintenance management system to schedule and complete maintenance procedures efficiently and review them regularly.
* To assign team members maintenance tasks using the PEMAC maintenance management system.
* To monitor and record all maintenance activities completed by the maintenance staff on the PEMAC maintenance management system.
* To collaborate with the maintenance planner on PMs, closed near-misses, and the backlog of tasks.
* To reduce equipment downtime through prompt action, efficient root cause analysis, and sound problem-solving methods.
Requirements
* Demonstrate the ability to manage and motivate staff.
* A time-served Electrician with QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft - Electrical or equivalent.
* Working knowledge of switchgear, MCC controls, relay logic, and various AC and DC voltage systems.
* High-level diagnostic and problem-solving skills in an industrial environment.
* Knowledge of mechanical and electrical process plants and associated maintenance activities within the wastewater industry.
* 10 years' experience in an industrial environment.
* Demonstrate a detailed understanding of H&S statutory requirements, responsibilities, and obligations.
* Good knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC, Ethernet, ControlNet, Device Net & Profibus communications protocols.
* Good knowledge of ABB Variable Speed Drives.
* Good knowledge and understanding of ATEX zoned areas.
* CompEx certification.
* Middle voltage switching experience and qualifications.
* Familiarity with SCADA process control systems for process and fault diagnosis.
