Job Title: Senior Psychologist - Children's Disability Network Team 6
At Stewarts Care, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Psychologist to join our interdisciplinary team in the Children's Disability Network. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families accessing our services.
About the Role:
This permanent, part-time position requires a qualified and registered psychologist with a strong background in working with children with disabilities. As a Senior Psychologist, you will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide expert psychological services to children from 0-18 years and their families. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Providing comprehensive psychological assessments and interventions to children and families;
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans;
• Contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practice guidelines;
• Participating in education and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge;
• Engaging in quality improvement initiatives to optimize service delivery.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• A university degree or diploma in Psychology (QQ1 level 8 equivalent) obtained with 1st or 2nd class honors;
• An Irish post-graduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical, Counselling, or Educational Psychology;
• At least five years of satisfactory post-graduate experience in professional psychology, including two years of full-time experience as a registered psychologist;
• Demonstrated competence in working with children with disabilities;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
