Responsibilities:
Sourcing Manager - Technology
* Lead to the Technology Group's business management to manage and administer contracts for IT hardware and software spend. Work through subcategories, developing a strategy for vendor cost consolidation.
* Developing, leading and executing sourcing strategies for the Technology Group's categories, including but not limited to, Software, SAAS, Digital Products & Professional services
* Establish and manage market exercises (RFX), involving key stakeholders and suppliers, through the process of discovery, analysis, negotiation, and decision making.
* Proactively collaborate with business partners and stakeholders to lead contract negotiations with suppliers; develop negotiation approaches, fallback positions and acceptable terms and conditions.
* Building and maintaining key relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Evaluating and leading the implementation of program and process standardization and optimization on existing and new services and processes
* Help build a culture of long-term savings on procurement costs without compromising supply or quality
* Leading projects teams and cross functional initiatives as needed
Requirements:
Essential
* Diploma/ Degree in Business or a related field.
* 5+ years of working experience in Sourcing of IT & Digital categories
* Strong analytical ability and a fact based approach to decision making.
* In-depth understanding of the governance and regulatory standards required in companies regulated by the financial regulator and CBI.
* Experience of effective collaboration with senior stakeholders and strategically important suppliers
* The ability to multi-task, prioritise and maintain a relentless focus on driving towards a positive outcome.
* Sound commercial acumen and excellent planning skills to meet demanding deadlines
Desired
* Strong industry knowledge within the banking/financial services sector
* 2+ years' experience in leading souring teams.
* Highly effective communication skills.
* Demonstrated experience influencing others without direct authority
* Strict attention to detail
