Responsibilities Set up and operate MIG welding equipment to fabricate and assemble metal components according to technical specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand welding requirements and project details.
Perform inspections of welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
Collaborate with engineers and other team members to enhance production processes and resolve any welding-related issues.
Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Adhere to safety policies and procedures while working in the production environment.
Document welding work completed, including adjustments made and materials used during the process.
Participate in ongoing training to improve welding skills and keep abreast of new technologies in the field.
Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; welding certification in MIG processes is preferred.
Proven experience as a MIG Welder or similar role within the manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of MIG welding techniques and familiarity with various metals.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds.
Good physical fitness and strength, capable of handling welding equipment easily.
Effective communication skills for collaboration with colleagues and project teams.
Willingness to work on different projects and adapt to changing conditions.
