Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer Dublin (€50,000 €60,000) A well-established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is looking to expand its Dublin team with the addition of an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a key technical role in the design and delivery of electrical building services across a variety of sectors, including commercial, healthcare, education, infrastructure, and mixed-use developments. Duties: Contribute to the design of electrical systems for small to medium-sized building projects, supporting senior engineers through all project stages from concept to completion. Prepare detailed drawings, reports, specifications, and schedules in line with current regulations and industry standards. Collaborate closely with mechanical, structural, architectural, and sustainability teams to ensure coordinated and integrated designs. Participate in project meetings with clients and design teams, clearly communicating technical information and design intent. Assist with project planning and ensure deliverables are completed on time and to a high standard. Support the implementation of quality assurance and health and safety protocols across design activities. Requirements: Degree-qualified in Electrical or Building Services Engineering. 46 years experience in electrical building services design within a consultancy environment. Solid understanding of Irish building regulations, IS standards, and CIBSE guidelines. Proficiency in Revit and design tools such as Dialux, Relux, and Amtech. Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and engaging with external stakeholders. Progressing toward chartership with Engineers Ireland or equivalent. Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a collaborative mindset.
