OverviewThe Job:We’re partnering with our client, an innovative medical device company, to recruit a Demand Planner. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of demand planning, production scheduling, inventory management, and outbound logistics and playing a key role in ensuring smooth supply chain operations from manufacturing through to US distribution.ResponsibilitiesPartner with commercial teams to build accurate demand forecasts.Manage the monthly S&OP process with a contract manufacturer to align supply with demand.Oversee daily production performance, escalating risks of supply disruption.Coordinate finished goods logistics to the US, optimizing sea vs. air freight.Work closely with warehouses, 3PLs, and logistics providers to ensure on-time, cost-effective deliveries.Maintain inventory levels that support revenue targets while reducing excess freight costs and raw material obsolescence.Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and Good Distribution Practices.QualificationsBachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Supply Chain, Planning, Engineering or related field.2+ years’ experience in production, supply or demand planning.Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.Experience in a regulated environment (FDA/medical devices preferred).Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.Advanced Excel/data analysis ability.Contact and notice: For a confidential conversation about the role contact Owen Clancy at oclancy@sterlingengineeringeu.com.
