On behalf of a leading Energy/Infrastructure firm in Dublin, we are looking to hire a Finance Business Partner.This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to work in a dynamic, commercial, and customer-focused business. The role will have responsibility for challenging business performance, commercial decision-making, the development and implementation of business strategy, and maintaining a robust governance and control framework.Responsibilities:Commercially challenge and support all business opportunities to ensure an appropriate risk and reward approach.Manage the day-to-day financial performance of the business areas, including proactive engagement with the business to ensure targets are met.Develop corrective action plans with business managers to address performance gaps.Support business planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes; agree on key assumptions with the FP&A team and business units.Manage, lead, and develop all financial analytics for the business, either within the BP team or in coordination with the Forecasting, Planning & Analysis team to support all business decisions.Requirements:A qualified accountant with approximately 2 years’ PQE.The ability to understand and communicate the key drivers of financial performance.A commercial mindset with effective analytical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal with senior management.A capacity to work on own initiative and deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines.Stakeholder management skills with an ability to leverage relationships to influence solutions.Demonstrated experience in managing varying workloads, including appropriate prioritization of short-term and long-term deliverables.
